RCRA claims filed in Simplot case

In January 2025, SRW filed an amended complaint in our federal Clean Water Act case against Simplot over its decades-long, unchecked pollution of the Snake River at its massive Grand View cattle feedlot. Our amended complaint addresses violations of the Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA), which addresses ground water pollution — a critical piece of our case and accounting for the types and volume of pollution the feedlot produces.
