Comments submitted on Wells Dam

SRW joined a broad coalition of other conservation and social justice groups in submitting comments to the Low Impact Hydropower Institute (LIHI) expressing our concern and frustration over the institution’s proposal to classify the Wells Dam on the Columbia River as “low impact” hydropower even though the dam has clear and well documented negative impacts to salmon, steelhead and other migratory fish populations.
