Joining fellow Waterkeepers in fighting for clean water

SRW has been working alongside a broad coalition of over 89 environmental advocacy and Waterkeeper groups to submit comments to the Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. We are asking these federal agencies to adhere to their legal duties to ensure safe and clean drinking water for all U.S. citizens by regulating slaughterhouse pollution and the chemical pollutants PFOA and PFOS; and to uphold appropriate Clean Water Act protections for the recognized Waters of the United States as the Supreme Court has repeatedly recognized and as was intended by Congress in the passing of Clean Water Act.
