Waterkeepers submit letter to HHS

A broad coalition of Waterkeepers, including SRW, submitted a letter to Robert F. Kennedy Jr., current head of the Department of Health and Human Services, urging him to take immediate action to:
- Restore the Office of Environmental Justice to ensure that HHS addresses the needs of communities most affected by climate change.
- Reinstate funding for programs at the National Institute of Health that support critical research on the health impacts of climate change.
- Reinstate the Office of Climate Change and Health Equity.
