In March, SRW joined a broad coalition of Waterkeepers to submit comments in support of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency new draft policy, “Definition of Hazardous Wast Applicable to Corrective Action for Releases from Solid Waste Management Units,” which strengthens regulations applicable to treatment, storage and disposal facilities.
